A little flashback to the beginning of the manic madness. It is important to not only plan, but to look back at photographs and see how far you have come. Any good garden plan should be a 3 year venture minimum.

All of the plants look so small. And new plants are often small, especially if you are budgeting or working from starts and cuttings. But it is important to leave the required space between plants and research the mature size for your climate.
By year three the trees along the back fence were well above the fence height, and by year five they were in excess of nine feet. Compare this photograph to the year three photographs here.
