Gardening in the SNOW

SNOW

I hope I did everything "right" because I am not use to a garden that needs special preparation for winter, more than basic pruning and mulching.

Maybe I had better go read more so that I know what to worry about that I have not done!

UPDATE *****

No worries on the snow, false alarm - just a light dusting, phew!

I suppose I should have cut the roses back by now. Hmm, I am use to having blooms into December....oops! I had better consider myself lucky and go take care of that and do a good walk through. The forecast says sun all week, but there may be snow next week.

Of course, snow is an insulator, so this could be far "milder" than just flat 18 degrees and NO snow like in Vancouver. After all, we have moved 4 degrees latitude SOUTH.
