I finally have all of the garden books unpacked and organized, all of the magazine clippings sorted, and the seeds and labels organized. I am ready to dig into some garden planning. This yard will be transformed by this time next year. If the neighbors think I am a crazy west coast hippy now, wait until the lawn is downsized and the native pollinator plants and edibles are planted :)
I am looking for a few good gardening book for Northern Indiana, or Michiana. I did locate the Indiana Native Plant and Wildflower Society (AND added my name to the list trying to form a local chapter). My next stop is the local extension office!
