After almost 4 month I no longer cry when I look at photos of the old yard. Well, mostly.
We moved many of the perennials with us to the new house, but aside from those few plants the yard here was pretty bare. There is a nice rose garden.
Last Friday we brought in 5 yards of microbial mulch and put the beds down for the winter. The parking strips still have lasagna style compost layers.
We intend to put in a producing garden this time, in addition to the butterfly and hummingbird gardens, and the herb cutting garden.
Cool video, I liked the close up of WC's thorny orange bush.
