I was asked what I would change if I could start over, and I do think I would have planned more - or at least read more. And I would have started composting sooner - even just in the beds, turning piles and then digging in before fall.
After 5 years I find that I am in less of a hurry now, I spend more time looking, looking from different angles - taking photos and looking through books and researching online. And I am less afraid to transplant and move things to remedy a situation or change a look.
